Welcome to the Leto Class of 1972 Blog
It's REUNION Time Again!
Are you ready for this? Can you believe it's been almost 35 years! WOW, how time does fly when you're having fun.... Since Blogs are HOT in 2006, oh course, we had to have one. Just because it's been a few more years than we would like to admit is no reason we can't be HOT too or should I say still. Let's look back on what was HOT in 72:
Hangouts: Ben T Davis Beach, Ranch House Parking Lot, Skyway Park, & Westshore Mall
Most Popular Songs: American Pie, A Horse With No Name, You've Got a Friend, Alone Again, Brandy, Black-n-White, Papa was a Rolling Stone, Lean On Me, Heart of Gold, I Can See Clearly Now, & Senior Class Theme: We've Only Just Begun
Technology: Video Disk & Email is introduced, Compact Disk is developed, Nasa gets the "go ahead" to develop a reuseable space shuttle, Rocks are brought back from the moon, and at the same time a Stone Age Tribe is discovered in the Philippines.
Dollars $ Cents: First class stamp = .08 cents, Gallon of Gas = .25 cents, McDonalds Cheeseburger, fries, & coke = .48 cents, Minimum Wage = $1.60, New Car = $3,800, Average Annual Household Income = $9,697.00
TV & Movies: M*A*S*H premieres on CBS; The first pay cable network, HBO, transmits, Atari introduces the arcade version of Pong; Best Picture: The Godfather.
Culture & Society: Talon Volume VII is published for Leto High School Class of 1972; A.P. Leto Comprehensive High School Class of 1972 graduates! And of course, our awesome reunions.
Getting back to 2006. . . What's Hot Now? Our Up-N-Coming 35th LHS Class Reunion. So we have a year to prepare, you know the routine: organize the reunion, make travel arrangements, new wardrobe, get a new do, shed a few pounds or get various body augmentations, whatever your thing is, Gitter Done and come join the fun!

We can address the timing of the reunion at our next meeting
Well holy smokes! Has it been 5 years since the last shin dig?? I'm still recuperating from that one! I just got the noification a couple of days ago. Hopefully, we can make it out. WA State is a long way to go; however, The Blonde and I were planning on visiting this year anyway, may as well make it a little earlier
Has anyone tried, or succeeded, in contacting Rick Kaake? I believe he lives up in the Great NW.
Has anyone spoken to Pam Hoppe.
